Hi, I'm Francesco.

I am a computer engineer based in Italy. By day I work as a healthcare business intelligence consultant: I design data warehouses, ETL flows and dashboards that help hospitals understand their own activity. That work is the reason I started contributing to Apache Superset, and the reason most of my open source pull requests are about dashboards, databases and SQL.

I hold a BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Bologna, where I am now studying for an MSc in Computer Science. Some of my coursework, from Markov chains to image restoration, is on the projects page.

Outside of work I ride a road bike, which explains the cycling tools in my GitHub account and the cycling posts on the blog. I also like to understand where my money goes, so expect a few posts about personal finance too.
